The Parks - For Adults and Older Kids

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom has a few things to offer as well.

Kilimanjaro Safaris (Africa)
The best way to see the animals - and great for the whole family. A truck takes you into the animal enclosures. Just make sure to get there first thing in the morning, not only to beat the crowds for this popular excursion, but also to see the greatest variety of animals - the animals tend to nap during the day as temperatures rise. If you miss the early morning departures, get a FAST PASS and go back toward the end of the day (the park usually closes around 5 pm).

Expedition Everest (Asia)
Disney's newest thrill ride does not disappoint. A roller coaster ride through Mt. Everest and a "chance" encounter with a Yeti is not to be missed!

Dinosaur! (DinoLand USA)
Spectacular animatronic Dinosaurs jumping out at you make this ride unique. However, many complain that the cars are too "jerky" and can be hard on a bad back.

Festival of the Lion King (Camp Minnie-Mickey)
Our favorite show at Disney. A wonderful music/variety show based on the Lion King theme is not just for small kids - great for the whole family.
